This was unacceptable behavior for management and I will never go back to that hotel!. I feel they should have honored it this time and not let it happen in the future or at least called us back before we showed up to stay. The manager was extremely rude and said they could not honor this because they couldn't get their money back. I talked to the assistant manager and then a rude manager and they refused us rooms even though THEIR staff said we could use the rooms this way, not only once but twice. We drove to Arkansas from Oklahoma a few days later only to have the clerk tell me she was watching for me, because she had been told I could not use my letter that way and refused us rooms even though I had confirmation numbers for each room. I called back after inviting our friends and I ask one more time with another representative, if they would indeed let us use the rooms with different people on the same night and she said of course, no problem at all. They didn't care who stayed in the rooms. The hotel answering staff said of course that's fine. I could not stay two nights so I thought what the heck, I'd call and see if we could bring friends with us the same night. I got a letter that said I had 2 free rooms, not to be used the same night but could be used consecutive nights.
